Common problems

Phone is lagging or overheating

  1. Restart the phone and close background apps.
  2. Settings → Apps → find the heaviest app → Storage → Clear cache.
  3. Uninstall apps you no longer use, then check for a system update.

Battery drains quickly

  1. Settings → Battery → Battery usage to see the top consumer.
  2. Restrict background activity for that app.
  3. Turn on adaptive battery and lower screen refresh rate.

Mobile data or Wi-Fi not working

  1. Toggle Airplane mode on and off.
  2. Settings → System → Reset options → Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.
  3. Re-add the network or re-seat the SIM card.

Storage full / can't install apps

  1. Settings → Storage → Free up space.
  2. Back up photos to the cloud and remove local copies.
  3. Clear cached data for large apps.
